October 29 is marked as a world stroke day (WSD). The first WSD in Nepal was celebrated under the leadership of Dr Lekhjung Thapa in BPKIHS in 2008, when even basic stroke care was lacking in most parts of Nepal. It has been a decade and Nepal has made a tremendous progress in stroke care with the help of Nepal Stroke Association (NSA). NSA has reached to different parts of country and trained physicians, nurses and physiotherapists form Eastern to Western Region of Nepal. Let‘s celebrate this WSD by joining the webinar in this COVID era. Stroke Experts would share their views and highlight the progress in stroke treatment.
